Not Too Bad...

I'm 31 years old today...Hard to believe...I don't feel like I am 30-something...but I am. Amazing.

Last year I took my birthday a little hard...30...THIRTY! I know, some of you are older, but do you remember thirty? This year, I just feel like there is a peace about me, surrounding me, like everything is in it's place. I can't explain the feeling of contentment in finally being able to go to bed at night knowing that my children are finally all tucked up in there beds as they should be...under one roof. God is amazing--He really is.

Here are some pics of me with the greatest gifts I've received in my life...Not too bad for 31 years!

Thank you, Lord, for the blessings in my life.

Happy Birthday, Lori! You will have many great years to come. Savor your thirties... forties are turning out to be much the same, except for a few more aches. =)

(Love the T-shirt, "Notarized, certified and apostilled." Gotta get me one of those when the time comes!)

Happy Happy Birthday Lori! I wish I'd known, we could have celebrated your birthday in Moscow! Of course, we did celebrate becoming families, or extending yours, didn't we??

I do remember 30. . .I was traumatized that I was no longer in my 20's. 31 was infinitely easier. But, I have to tell you that my 40's have been awesome!!

Have fun!

Oops, here come the tears again. Happy Birthday!!! And thank you so much for sharing your gifts with the rest of us. You and Adam have added 4 of the most precious children to our family. We love all of you so much.
(30 was bad for me too, but they really get easier...60 was a BLAST!!)

Hope you had a special day with the ones you love most. What a great place to be at 31! You have so much to be grateful for. We all do. Our families are priceless! Any pointers for turning 30? I'll be there soon. =)

Happy Birthday, Lori!!
What a fabulous birthday gift :) Welcome to the "thirty-something" crowd. We only have a decade to enjoy it- but, I'm sure you will find all the joy there is to find during these wonderful years!!

Blessings!!

Happy Birthday Lori. I may have been quiet, but I have followed your story for awhile, and actually brag to my friends and tell them about your story and the whole process. Im so happy for you guys. Congratulations, she is gorgeous. Im sure she will fit right in with the loud mouths with this family eventually (luckily she may not be cursed with the Westerhoff Tub a.k.a. Flabby Tummy).

I turn 30 this year. Hopefully it will be a great time and happy occasion if Russel is here by then. If not, ah...don't want to talk about it! :)

Take care. Kiss all those beautiful babies for me. Love you.

P.S. Hopefully will see you at Jess' wedding?
